Quality Assurance Role

As an engineer you will work on all aspects of software, focusing on areas of product quality and improvement.

 

For this position, the main expectation is that you will become a PlanetTogether product expert, quickly learning to operate our complex software. We have many resources to assist in this process including, online documentation, training manuals, other team members, and the software itself. Primary projects for this role include the following:

- Create and lead a new quality assurance process that will focus on windows application testing

- Create automated unit tests

- Work with other teams to run and maintain coded unit tests

- Update and create documentation for product features

- Offer your opinion and participate in QA testing of new development features where your feedback will be applied directly to the software.

 

In addition to using the software, there are other related projects in which you have the opportunity to explore. These other areas are a great way to demonstrate your experience or work in an area you are interested in. Such areas include:

- Assist with in-depth c# coded software testing

- Expand our user training initiative via PlanetTogether Academy

- Use your software development skills to create new mobile apps or even work on our primary software product.

- Assist support engineers in solving customer issues by providing intricate knowledge of the software

Supplemental Qualifications

- Backgrounds or degrees in a math or science related field

- Experience with computer applications and technology, specifically those with complex operations and interfaces

- Manufacturing and supply chain experience

- Result-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business challenges and offer creative yet practical solutions

- Penchant for thriving in a start-up-like environment and contributing to long-term company growth
