PlanetTogether is an industry leader in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software development.  Over 150 worldwide manufacturing companies use PlanetTogether’s software, services and support to create an optimized production schedule thereby increasing on-time delivery and reduced inventory cost.

 

PlanetTogether is continually building it’s brand awareness to foster growth.  As a PlanetTogether Technical Marketing Specialist you’ll become a product expert and create creative marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, and company news/updates.  You’ll attend 3-5 trade shows per year, helping to organize the event and demo the PlanetTogether product.  You’ll create and edit video and written content, and post this content to our social networks while monitoring and managing PlanetTogether’s social network presence.

 

You are empathetic and a strong communicator who will help our prospects learn and utilize all that PlanetTogether has to offer.  You’ll help drive strategy to make the marketing initiatives more efficient and scalable as our team grows. You are creative about analyzing trends and optimizing business processes.  We’re growing fast and constantly seeking new, creative ways to do business, so you’re flexible and constantly identifying new opportunities. You don’t need to be micromanaged; outside of your clear marketing goals, you do exceptional work without close oversight.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Become a PlanetTogether product expert; understand all of PlanetTogether’s feature set and value proposition
  • Create video and written content; publish content to social networks and website
  • Manage social networks (linkedin, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc…)
  • Organize PlanetTogether’s trade show and conference appearances
  • Demo PlanetTogether product at trade shows and conferences
  • Create marketing campaigns to promote company news and product updates
  • Propose ways to enhance marketing strategy through data analysis
  • Identify, propose, and initiate projects that can help marketing initiatives

Strongly preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in using Hubspot Marketing Software
  • Experience in using HTML & CSS
  • Experience with video editing
  • Knowledge of Marketing and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of Social networking best practices
