Client Solutions Role

As a client solutions engineer you will working with our primary software product to create realistic models using customer data. You will often work with customers and partners using web meetings for demos, status reports, and gathering requirements. For this position, the main expectation is that you will become a PlanetTogether product expert, quickly learning to operate our complex software. During our eight week training program you will get hands on experience and knowledge of manufacturing planning and scheduling.

Common projects for this role include the following:

- Engage with new and potential customers by providing interactive software demos to customers

- Work directly with manufacturers to revolutionize their scheduling system by working with them on data modeling and integration.

- Gather project requirements and product interest from manufacturers. These requirements will lead to targeted software modeling and demos.

- Use SQL to integrate customer data.

In addition to the primary projects, there are other related projects in which you have the opportunity to explore. These other areas are a great way to demonstrate your experience or work in an area you are interested in. Such areas include:

- Assist with in-depth software testing

- Expand our user training initiative via PlanetTogether Academy

- Save user’s time and energy by expanding our online software documentation

- Assist support engineers in solving customer issues by providing intricate knowledge of the software

- Offer your opinion and participate in QA testing of new development features where your feedback will be applied directly to the software.

Supplemental Qualifications

- Backgrounds or degrees in a math or science related field

- Experience with computer applications and technology, specifically those with complex operations and interfaces

- Manufacturing and supply chain experience

- Result-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business challenges and offer creative yet practical solutions

- Penchant for thriving in a start-up-like environment and contributing to long-term company growth
